Yes! The StainStriker is designed for use on upholstery. We don't recommend using it on leather, and we always recommend a patch test on a hidden area of the fabric.

Can I use the StainStriker to clean a full room of wall-to-wall carpet?

The StainStriker is designed for spots, stains, and smaller messes on your carpets & upholstery. For cleaning a house full of wall-to-wall carpet, check out the Shark CarpetXpert for the best deep carpet cleaning.

Do I need to use both CarpetXpert Deep Clean Pro and StainStriker Oxy Multiplier formulas with my StainStriker spot cleaner?

We encourage customers to use both CarpetXpert Deep Clean Pro and StainStriker Oxy Multiplier to provide the best remove tough stains. Customers are welcome to use just CarpetXpert Deep Clean Pro for cleaning heavy traffic areas.

I'm out of formula. Where can I get more?

Check the unit's packaging box flap where it displays a QR code. Scan the QR code and you will automatically be directed to order more formula online. Alternatively, you can purchase refills here.

Can the StainStriker be used on hard floors?

The StainStriker is only designed for carpets, rugs, upholstery, & fabrics.

Can I use the StainStriker like a vacuum to clean up dry debris?

We recommend that you always vacuum with a traditional vacuum cleaner first, to pick up loose dry debris before cleaning with the StainStriker. The StainStriker is designed for spots, stains, and wet messes on carpets & upholstery.
