Do not buy, your health is at risk.

We have used this product a few times. Today while eating vanilla ice cream, I noticed a very small piece of metal on the white ice cream, upon inspection it was a piece of metal. We placed the remaining ice cream in a bowl to melt it, and while slowly pouring it out a large amount of tiny pieces of metal were in the bottom of the bowl. This is dangerous.

Are all pieces dishwasher safe?
All parts, except for the motor base, are top rack dishwasher safe. Do not wash any part in the bottom rack of the dishwasher.
Are the Deluxe Pints BPA free?
Yes
How can I label my Deluxe Pints?
We recommend using food label stickers on the pint or pint lid. We don't recommend using dry erase or other markers directly on the pint or pint lid.
Is the Deluxe Pint microwave safe?
Yes
Do I have to freeze for 24 hours? What happens if I freeze for less time?
We recommend freezing for at least 24 hours to give your pint time to reach the optimal temperature range for processing. Although the CREAMi Deluxe Pint may hit freezing temperatures before 24 hours is up, it will need to get even colder before it is ready for processing. (The unit is designed to process bases that are between -12�C and -21�C.) If you freeze your base for less than 24 hours, it may not reach a cold enough temperature for processing, and your output will likely be soft and liquidy.
What should I use or not use as mix-ins? How should I prep mix-ins?
What to use: chocolate, nuts, candy, frozen fruit, and more to elevate any treat with bursts of flavor. What not to use: fresh fruit, sauces, and spreads. Adding fresh fruit, fudge, and caramel sauces will water down your treat. Chocolate hazelnut spread and nut butters also do not mix well. In place of these items, we recommend using frozen fruit or chocolate/caramel shell toppings. How to prep: Hard mix-ins like chocolate, candy, and nuts will remain intact and not get broken down during the MIX-IN program, so we recommend using smaller pieces of hard mix-ins, such as mini chocolate chips and candies or pre-chopped nuts. Soft mix-ins like cereal, cookies, and frozen fruit will get broken down and shrink during the MIX-IN program, so we recommend using larger pieces of soft mix-ins. Adjust the size of mix-ins to your taste using these guidelines.
How do I make two flavors in one base?
You can use the same base to make two separate mix-in flavors, such as cookies and cream for the top portion and chocolate for the bottom portion. When processing a scoopable half-pint, select the TOP processing zone and use the dial to select the program you would like the process the top half on. With a spoon, create a 4cm wide hole that reaches halfway down the Deluxe Pint. Add your mix-ins to the hole and select TOP and MIX-IN. When processing is complete, scoop out the processed portion, then serve immediately. To process the bottom half of the Deluxe Pint, select BOTTOM, then run the same program used for the top half. With a spoon, create a 4cm wide hole that reaches the bottom of the Deluxe Pint. Add your mix-ins to the hole in the Deluxe Pint and select BOTTOM and MIX-IN. When processing is complete, scoop out the ice cream and serve immediately.
What type of yogurt should I use that will produce the best desired outcome?
When making frozen yogurt, ensure you are using full-fat yogurts with added sugar. Non-fat yogurts or yogurts with no added sugar should not be processed in the unit.
Can I use a carbonated beverage in my frozen treat?
You CANNOT freeze any carbonated beverages as they will expand during freezing.
Can I make a smoothie in the Ninja Creami?
- No. Do NOT make a smoothie or process hard, loose ingredients, such as frozen fruit. Fruit must be crushed to release its juice or combined with other ingredients and frozen before processing. The Fresh Fruit Sorbet recipe in the inspiration guide provides an example of how to make a treat from fruit that is crushed to release its juice and frozen before processing.
What can I make if I don't have 24 hours?
You can make a milkshake or customize store-bought ice cream with mix-ins in minutes.
What is the difference between each One-Touch Program?
Each One-Touch Program is intelligently designed to whip up delicious creations in 1-5 minutes. Programs vary in length and speed according to the optimal settings for creating perfectly creamy results with each kind of treat. There are two types of programs: Scoopable and Drinkable. The Scoopable programs include ICE CREAM, LITE ICE CREAM, SORBET, GELATO and FROZEN YOGURT. These programs can be processed right from your freezer. The Drinkable programs include FRAPPÉ, FROZEN DRINK, SLUSHI, and MILKSHAKE. With the exception of the MILKSHAKE program, these programs require a liquid 'Pour-In' after you freeze your initial base. The liquid pour-in before processing is what gives these outputs their drinkable texture.
